Titan cast steel Y strainer features a machined groove in both the body and cover for accurate screen alignment and to ensure proper reseating when servicing is required. For high pressure and high temperature application, Titan cast steel Y strainer use 304 stainless steel spiral wound seal between the body and cover.

Description
For screen, standard perforated 304 stainless steel are spot welded along the seam for maximum strength.
Titan cast steel Y strainers also have self cleaning capability by a tapped NPT blow-off connection. This unit can be combine with a drain plug which enable cleaning of the straining element.
Titan cast steel Y strainers carbon steel are epoxy painted to resist rust and corrosion.
