Titan Valve supplies API 602 forged steel globe valves sized from 1/4″ to 4″ which are widely utilized in high temperature and high pressure services. These compact(covering class 800, class 1500, class 2500) steel globe valves, commonly used in petroleum and natural gas industries, can be made from carbon steel, alloy steel, and stainless steel. End connections can be furnished as butt welding(BW), flanged(RF/RTJ), threaded(NPT), socket welding(SW). Due to the small sizes and relatively low torque valve, API 602 forged steel globe valves are usually hand wheel operated. The body and bonnet connection can be furnished as either welded bonnet, bolted bonnet, or RTJ compacted bonnet. Outside screw & yoke(OS&Y) with rising stem, and full/regular ports are the conventional construction of our forged steel globe valves. Bellow stem seals extended body/bonnet, Y pattern and Union bonnet are available upon request.
Design Standards and Design Features
Design/Inspection standards: API 602, ASME B16.34, ASME B16.5, EN ISO 15761, ASME B16.25, ASME B1.20.1, ASME B 16.11.
● Efficient packing seal at backseat to ensure no leakage from stem.
● Fully guided disc ensures accurate alignment of disc and seat and reduces wear on seating surfaces.
● Outside Screw & Yoke construction facilitate stuffing box maintenance.
● Metallic ring gasket or spiral wound gasket can be applied to ensure the tight seal of body/bonnet joint.
● Versatile styles of discs which can be furnished for different purposes.
